The Observatory Ecumenical
rational Ignaz Von Döllinger is the contribution of the Priestly
Society, this important movement is characterized by its commitment in
open dialog, the attentive listener and is respectful of the rich
tradition of other communities, who collaborate through actions of
common good and through prayer, in addition to a common commitment in
the defence and promotion of the fundamental rights of every man and of
free religious expression.
This proposal is faithful to the purpose of the origins and principles of theOld Catholic movement in the field of ecumenism, and refers to the above in time and efforts which later made other institutions.
Our Observatory basically wants to make of ecumenism a vocation to the unit from the difference without any exception, works and creates spaces of knowledge about what is truly the ecumenism as a religious and human movement, it is a response given to the reality of Latin America because after the arrival of traditions Christian of reform where arise new religious movementsIt allows us to examine the need to think and act from the inclusion and the wealth that lies behind the diversity.
